We accept Child Care Works (CCIS)
Child Care Works is Pennsylvania’s child care subsidy program. We accept it alongside private pay, and we help families through the CCIS process.
What is Child Care Works?
Child Care Works (CCW) is Pennsylvania’s subsidized child care program. It helps eligible families pay for child care. Many families still call it by its older name, CCIS.
It is run through your local Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC). In Philadelphia, that is ELRC Region 18.
Who can get it?
The ELRC decides who qualifies. It looks at things like your family’s income and size, your work or school hours, and your child’s age. Rules and income limits change, so check COMPASS or call ELRC Region 18 for the current ones.
